記 美國 感恩節假期影事



早前介紹過的兩部電影 Enchanted 和 August Rush，美國感恩節假期時首映，剛巧身在北美的我恭逢其會，除了大吃火雞外，在十一月廿四五日周末來個雙響炮。


Enchanted (2007)

笑料不少，歌舞連場，好好睇，仲有驚喜添！

最後尾，來個角色調換，美男被妖龍捉了去，公主拿起寶劍，冒著大風雨爬上高塔頂，拯救愛郎，斬妖屠龍後，美男從塔頂跌下來， 公主一手把愛郎捉著，救了愛郎，又決定留在人間，不再回到童話世界和王子結婚了，但那一位美女願意去到童話世界裡和王子圓婚呢？這裡賣個關子， 留返在香港上映時，你地入場睇喇。


之後翻查北美票房紀錄，Enchanted 位列票房榜首，主要是編劇們懂得變通，把舊酒換上新瓶子，令觀眾一開始眼前一亮，應記首功。


Story： 童話故事書裡面的公主， 被邪惡的皇后，踢出童話書的世界，變成人身，跌落在現實世界的紐約曼克頓區。 美麗的公主，祇活在童話世界，怎樣生活在紐約大都會呢？




一位好心的美國律師救了她，童話故事般的羅曼蒂克愛情故事，會否實現在現實的紐約曼克頓呢？

The tale follows the beautiful princess Giselle as she is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land--and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan.

Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid--even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince back home--she has to wonder: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?



August Rush （2007）

比較起上一部電影，August_Rush 只是平鋪直敘，沒有甚麼驚喜。

但平淡中，亦有真趣， 一向不喜歡 Robin Williams 羅賓威廉士的演繹，今次亦不例外，他演街頭音樂人，收養一班有音樂天賦的流浪兒童，教他們表演賺錢，顯然是改動一下，今次不做扒手。但他最先發覺 August Rush 的音樂天賦，并教曉他基本音樂技巧。

之後 August Rush 再經由 牧師被送入 Juilliard School 學習，還作了 "August Rhapsody" 在中央公園表演， 就太一廂情愿了。 不過小演員亦不太老人精，當消閑的電影不過不失。


Story： 兩位有才氣的音樂家，男的彈得一手悅耳的好結他，女的拉得一手動人的大提琴，但兩人都缺乏財氣， 一次邂逅之後，被女方父親拆散。

女的卻珠胎喑結，兩個天才的結合，生下了『驚世音樂奇才』，像 《莫扎特》 一般的音樂天才，美麗的音符在他的腦子蕩揚，但他她都不知道。女的生下了嬰兒，就交給孤兒院撫養，自己再尋找音樂的理想，男的連做了爸爸都不知道。



在孤兒院長大的 August Rush，擁有音樂的天才，決定萬里尋親，展開他的旅程！
