“During a visit to a mental hospital before I left Hong Kong, a patient politely asked me how a country that prided itself on being the oldest democracy in the world had come to be handing over his city to another country with a very different system of government, without either consulting the citizens or giving them the prospect of democracy to safeguard their future. Strange, said one of my aides, that the man with the sanest question in Hong Kong is in a mental hospital.”Chris Patten Financial Times

Congratulations, Space. I remember finding your blog from haricot's. I remember you quoted something from Rush Limbaugh and I was very mad at you :-) But then I kept coming back to read more. It is interesting to read other's perscpective about America, especially from a Hong Konger. I am one of those long winded commentors. I hope you don't mind. I notice that Hong Kong commenters tend to leave short comments. I am not even sure if I have violated any blog etiquette. Keep up the good fun!

Exile from Hong Kong, LONG SHORT BIG SMALL comment are ALL welcome! Size doesn't matter!

Thank you for your Chinese American (or you prefer to be American Chinese) insight on the various matters.

Thank you for your kind greeting! I don't remember that you swam from Haricot to here!

Space Big Brother: Congrat !!!

I agree with you that blogging is not for money nor fame, but interactions and exchanges of ideas.

I too have been enjoying reading your articles. We may agree to disagree but that's all fair and civilized, and more importantly, fun!!!

Keep up the good work :)
