“During a visit to a mental hospital before I left Hong Kong, a patient politely asked me how a country that prided itself on being the oldest democracy in the world had come to be handing over his city to another country with a very different system of government, without either consulting the citizens or giving them the prospect of democracy to safeguard their future. Strange, said one of my aides, that the man with the sanest question in Hong Kong is in a mental hospital.”Chris Patten Financial Times

Secretary of State of the United States of America,《NBC News》Hillary Rodham Clinton: "I'm Secretary of State, Not Bill."

"You want me to tell you what my husband thinks?" she replied incredulously when the male student asked her what "Mr. Clinton" thought of World Bank concerns about a multi-billion-dollar Chinese loan offer to the Congo.

"My husband is not secretary of state, I am," an obviously annoyed Clinton said sharply. "If you want my opinion, I will tell you my opinion. I am not going to be channeling my husband."

《NBC News》Mrs. Clinton was hosting a town hall forum on Monday when a Congolese university student asked about President Obama's thinking on an international financial matter. Unfortunately, the translator swapped in Bill Clinton's name for the current president's, and that caused the secretary of state of the most powerful nation in the world to snap.

Democratic Republic of the Congo,今次事件時發生于後者。

I'm Secretary of State, Not Bill. "

希拉莉 克林頓是否真正是要告訴,北韓即是朝鮮 " I'm Secretary of State, Not Bill. "

Yup!! I saw her on TV, fairly snappy all right !!! I agree that she could have handled it differently while remaining assertive.

hari big brother, so I employed my horizontal guessing she was shouting to North Korean Kim Jong Il :"I'm Secretary of State, Not Bill." Sorry that someone was being victimize.

Kim will "use" her when the time comes.

hari big brother, exactly that's why she played such a dramatic episode in Kinshasa, Congo.

She does not want to wait for her turn, SHE wants to go sooner and not when KIM needs her.
