六月六日 The longest Day 碧血長天





二戰中後期 歐洲戰場﹐俄羅斯在東面反攻﹐歐美盟軍繼在意大利南部登陸﹐還在西歐打開第三條戰線。一九四四年六月六日在法蘭西的諾曼第地區﹐強行搶灘登陸﹐近年的電影「Saving Private Ryan ~~雷霆救兵」有整整三十多分鐘的大場面﹐重演當年的慘烈情景﹐看得我目定口呆。


而真正講述 諾曼第登陸戰的電影是「碧血長天~~The Longest Day」﹐我年幼時每年在六月六日﹐電視臺都會重播。當時年幼無知﹐不識戰爭殘酷﹐以為上陣殺敵﹐是很好玩的遊戲﹐兒時玩伴在「明珠臺」睇完 The Longest Day 後﹐就有樣學樣去玩﹐但無人肯扮德軍﹐個個都要做美軍﹐做英軍﹐因為德國軍隊是邪惡的。


「碧血長天」是英美合資拍攝的電影﹐宣揚盟軍打敗納粹德意志為首的﹐法西斯第三帝國。所謂「成者為王﹑敗者為寇」﹐歷史多是勝利一方﹐為了歌功頌德寫下的﹐另一方﹐戰敗的一方﹐想寫出事實真相﹐近世的還有機會﹐如德意志人寫了﹐坦白承認戰爭的錯誤認錯﹐但日本人不但寫了﹐還想改掉歷史﹐至于古時的歷史就更加無從稽考了。

The Battle of Normandy was fought in 1944 between Nazi Germany in Western Europe and the invading Allied forces as part of the larger conflict of World War II. Operation Overlord was the codename for the Allied invasion of northwest Europe, which began on June 6, 1944, and ended on August 19, 1944, when the Allies crossed the River Seine.





Over sixty years later, the Normandy invasion still remains the largest seaborne invasion in history, involving almost three million troops crossing the English Channel from England to Normandy. Operation Neptune was the codename given to the initial assault phase of Operation Overlord; its mission, to gain a foothold on the continent, started on June 6, 1944 (most commonly known by the name D-Day) and ended on June 30, 1944.
