“During a visit to a mental hospital before I left Hong Kong, a patient politely asked me how a country that prided itself on being the oldest democracy in the world had come to be handing over his city to another country with a very different system of government, without either consulting the citizens or giving them the prospect of democracy to safeguard their future. Strange, said one of my aides, that the man with the sanest question in Hong Kong is in a mental hospital.”Chris Patten Financial Times

I think I can be faster because the american colleagues actually using the home web cam to see live tv boardcast directly from her american home. She shouted out each winner from her seat.

Earlier I didnt press the publish key each time though. But for the final Big 4 I will, and now is almost lunch time I can do that.

Moreover, I just came back from her seat It was the Spiderman couple presenting the award to the winner of original screenplay "Little Miss Sunshine".

"quite surprised that the Departed has won the best picture though."

Agreed!!

aulina said...

xiao zhu said...

“Little Miss Suinshine" 的爺爺﹐??

I just don't get that part...he was good in the movie, but not THAT good...

Anonymous said...

I have not watched the movie but reading the brief introduction

" 'Little Miss Sunshine' is a comedy road trip that stars Greg Kinnear and Toni Collette as a married couple who drive from Albuquerque to Redondo Beach so that their daughter, Olive (Abigail Breslin), can compete in a kiddie beauty pageant. Along for the ride - don't ask why - are Olive's heroin addicted grandfather, (Alan Arkin), ......."

The grand pa in Litte Miss Sunshine ...... 最佳男配角是“Little Miss Suinshine" 的爺爺﹐and according to my colleages he was the underdog, eddie murphy was the overdog so "是爆出冷門"。

Hope I have made it clear for you !!!
