80th Oscars 奧斯卡金像獎
真的能夠如期舉行，作家協會的罷工，在雙方努了避免影響第八十屆奧斯卡金像獎頒獎典禮，無人想做衰人，畀歷史記載下來，攪喎咗個『金像獎頒獎』，咁樣卒之在頒獎禮前達成協議復工。
二月廿四日晚如期舉行『頒獎典禮』，即是香港二月廿五日早上，在星光熠熠，在群星鞏照下，在『柯達劇院 Kodak Theatre』，續一宣報得獎者。
而環顧過去一年，去世的電影人，較出名的有，珍 惠雯，狄波拉
嘉兒，英瑪 褒曼，當然還有，就在宣布獲提名名單當天，突然去世
『斷背山 Brokeback Mountain 』的 Heath Ledger.
