原曲 由 Isaac Watts 填詞 （1674-1748），是經已接近 300年前。譯成中文也有多個版本，但其義不變。


奇妙十架歌
每逢思想奇妙十架，銘感救恩，虔誠頂禮，
從前所慕，勢利虛榮，如今願意完全拋棄。

覲見寶架，仰瞻聖範，寸心了解救恩浩大，
莫容我為別事矜誇，生死安危，惟跨十架。

試問眾生曾否見過，憂愁慈愛，和血並流？
愁愛可曾如此相接？荊棘可曾化作冕旒。

救主慈愛，無限高深，盡獻所有，難報主恩；
願負十架，學主犧牲，喝主苦杯，效主求仁。

今天是《受苦節》不是教徒的朋友，多只是知道今天紀念救主耶穌基督，被羅馬總督 彼拉多 交給猶太人，按照猶太人們的律法審判，結果被釘十字架受害而葬。


而教徒們都知道，耶穌被釘十字架，是為了世人所犯之罪，所作的贖罪活祭，故此信徒們應常念【認罪文】

全能至慈悲之天父
我等離開聖道
錯行如失群之羊
我等常任己意常縱己慾
違背天父之聖法
當為者不為
不當為者反為了
我等實是軟弱無力行善
求上帝按照我主耶穌基督
應許世人之救恩
憐憫我等犯重罪之人
認罪者求主憐憫
悔改者求主赦免
又求至慈悲之父
使我等以後尊奉天父
公義待人安分守己
榮耀天父之聖名

Almighty and most merciful Father,
we have erred and strayed from
Your ways like lost sheep.
We have followed too much the devices and
desires of our own hearts.
We have offended against Your holy laws.
We have left undone those things which
we ought to have done;
and we have done those things which
we ought not to have done;
and there is nothing good in us.
O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders.
Spare those, O God, who confess their faults.
Restore those who are penitent;
according to Your promises
declared unto men in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Grant that we may hereafter live a godly,
righteous, and sober life;
to the glory of His name.
