後記：
電影 Crazy Heart 港譯：聲聲相識 有 Jeff Bridges 演 Bad Blake 過氣牛仔鄉謠歌手 和 Maggie Gyllenhaal 演 Jean Craddock 單親媽媽。
故事簡單而老土，過氣過期鄉謠歌手，吸煙、酗酒、生活潦倒，靠經理人幫他接到的不定時工作，並需要穿州過省到一些鄉下小鎮的酒吧表演，賺錢糊口。 鄉下的單親媽媽為了照顧小兒子，沒有工作接受綜援，不定時做一些人物訪問，再寄到報社雜誌社投稿，希望得到接納收取稿費，幫助生活費。
兩人都處在人生的低點，在一次訪談之後，他尚不是廢柴，她也不是貞節烈女，乾柴烈火，由性而友。後來過氣鄉謠歌手得到徒弟的鼓勵，再次創作新歌賺取版稅，而剛巧單親媽媽帶小兒子來探訪，前景轉好，兩人瞳境著將臨美好的新生活。
但一次過氣歌手單獨照顧小兒子時，他為了要飲酒，讓小兒子走失了，雖然最終平安尋回，但單親媽媽決定離開，吸煙、酗酒、生活糜爛、氣急敗壞，不停 say sorry 的過氣牛仔鄉謠歌手，因為他實在不堪倚靠。
過氣鄉謠歌手決心改過，終於創作成主題曲 The Weary Kind，賣了給徒弟，收到了版稅。年多之後，兩人重遇，她已經有了新的男人，鄉謠歌手就把版稅的錢，交了給她保存，等到小兒子十八歲時，作為他的教育使費，兩人再分道揚鑣。

In the movie, Maggie Gyllenhaal knew she was taking a risk with Jeff Bridges. She made the right decision and pulled out at the end, How many women would be so clear-headed in reality? I like watching Jeff Bridges in action
ReplyDelete. He didn't just play the character, he became Bad Blake. I am actually a bit disappointed at Maggie Gyllenhaal's "more than OK" performance. Something was missing. It must be hard to co-star with Jeff Bridges. His acting skill makes any actor looks inferior.
I would like to share a quote by Mark Twain.

I lived in a small mining town for almost three yrs and saw a lot of travelling musicians trying to make a living in smoky bars where nobody paid attention. Just like in the movie, many of them had drug and alcohol issues.

Yeah, I totally don't see where the immediate attraction came from either. But then again, I always heard "all a guy needs is to ask". May be it's an American guy thing? Woman may be easier than man thinks, at least in the beginning.
